About us
I am originally from Syracuse, New York. Like most of my family, I attended Niagara University to obtain my undergrad. I then studied chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. I have been practicing as a chiropractor in the Lancaster and Depew area since 2001. My first location was inside the gym, Niagara Fitness. In 2002, I joined Buffalo Chiropractic with my friend Dr. William Palmer.
Originally, I wanted to be a dentist, but a mild back injury changed all of that. Initially, it was only a mild stiffness, however, months later I found myself sleeping on the floor and unable to get up and go to class. My aunt scheduled an appointment at her chiropractor for me. I was desperate and I remember going to the chiropractor’s office and not being able to get out of my car. By the time I got from the parking lot to the office I was in tears, fifteen minutes later there was no doubt what I would pursue for my career. That was 20 years ago, and since then I have had the privilege of changing quite a few lives with my chosen profession.
I believe in leading a healthy lifestyle and encourage everyone I care about to take good care of themselves. I believe this can usually be achieved with some subtle dietary changes and modest regular exercise. I routinely offer nutritional advice and exercise routines to help my patients realize their optimal potential health. All patients are given neck and back exercises which are designed to strengthen your spine and prevent chronic pain and injuries. I routinely post information on the office Facebook page which is designed to educate my patients on healthy lifestyle choices.
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my family. I have three boys and watching their extra-curricular activities is generally my main priority outside of work. I also enjoy running, camping, and kayaking. If you need some ideas on where to kayak in Western New York, just ask! With the rest of my spare time, I love watching Buffalo sports and Syracuse basketball. I even have an office fantasy football league for my patients to join.
